Elizabeth P. Garcia

Elizabeth is a Latina born and raised in Miami, Florida. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. With over ten years of experience in the education and nonprofit sector, she has expertise working with youth and families that are marginalized and/or have Limited English Proficiency.

Through a fellowship with UnidosUS' National Institute of Latino School Leaders, she co-wrote and presented a national policy reform to increase funding for Family Engagement. In her role at KYD Network she strives to implement best practices as an Out-of-School Time (OST) Program Development Coach and advocating for quality OST programs.
